A delicate all over floral pattern is woven into this fine wool and cotton shawl, using the jacquard technique.There is a subtle border at both ends terminating in hand knotted fringes. We bought this shawl directly from the weaver, Neeruddin in Varanasi, India, and he receives a fair wage.
Measuring 108 x 190cm, it is large enough to envelope the body, yet fine enough to wrap around the neck.
