This colourful patchwork backpack was made with love by women working at a training and income generation program for village women in Tamil Nadu, South India.
It has been cleverly designed to be worn three ways: as a cross body sling bag, as an over the shoulder bag, and when the strap is unzipped, as a backpack.
One side of the bag has a vertical zip from top to bottom opening to a padded interior big enough to carry books, devices and lunches. The front of the bag features three zipped pockets.
It is suitable for all ages and sizes - adults and children alike., although it is best as a cross-body bag for children, whereas adults can use it any of the three configurations.
