India is known for woven checked fabric... you see it all over the place there: in towels, turbans, lunghis, saris. And now I hae this gorgeous handwoven checked fabric by the metre in the sizzling colours of the subcontinent.
This fabric is sold in 50 cm increments, cut in continuous lengths.

Care: Always pre-wash your fabric before starting your sewing project.
Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents.
Note: excess natural colours may bleed when washed for the first time. Avoid soaking for too long.
