The city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan is well known for its master jewelers. Tiny workshops ring with the sounds of hammer on metal and the streets are filled with shops full of glittering goodies. We bought a small collection of handmade sterling silver earrings in contemporary Indian design. Each pair of earrings comes packed in a tiny silk bag made from a recycled sari.
