This is one of the finest and most delicate shawls you will find anywhere... perfect for summer nights.

Hand woven in a Himalayan village from pure linen, its colours of shell pink and light beige are from Lac* and Harada**

This featherweight beauty is a generous 216 x 68 cm.
Only two in stock.

*Lac dye is made from the secretion on the scale insect, Kerria lacca found throughout India and produces pink to red colours.
**Harada dye is made from the combination of Myrobalan and iron.  Myrobalan is made from the ground nuts of the Terminalia chebula tree which grows in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Indochina and south China. It produces buttery yellows and the soft beige in this shawl.

Being hand made, there may be minor variations in colour and design.
We take great care in photographing our products, but please be aware that minor differences in colour may occur between our camera and your monitor.
