The bodice and pockets are lined with the softest cotton muslin and it is also used for the internal hems: so gentle on the skin!
This is an easy to wear, cool comfortable cotton dress, from fantastic artisan made hand printed fabric.
I try to craft my garments as well as the fabric artisans do the fabrics, using French seams where possible so that your purchase will stay around for many seasons of happy wear.

Made by me in my Chewton sewing room and signed with a (starry) heart.
For the long, happy life of your garment, I recommend a cold, gentle wash and air-drying in the shade.
Do not soak or wash with other garments.
