A delicate all over floral pattern is woven into this fine wool and silk shawl, using the jacquard technique.There is a deep border pattern of paisley shapes at both ends terminating in hand knotted fringes. We bought this shawl directly from the weaver, Neeruddin, in Varanasi, India, and he receives a fair wage.
